MikroSkin™ is a flexible architectural surface designed to wrap over existing flat surfaces without demolition.
Surface must be flat, dry, clean, and structurally sound before installation.
Thoroughly clean the surface using a grease remover or sugar soap.
Remove all:
Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.
Fill any recessed joins, chips, screw holes, or damaged areas.
Sand smooth. MikroSkin™ performs best over flat, even surfaces.
Apply MikroSkin™ bonding primer evenly using a roller.
Allow primer to dry fully before adhesive application.
Using a 4mm nap roller, apply an even coat of adhesive.
Avoid excessive build-up.
The adhesive will appear white initially.
Wait approximately 5–10 minutes until the adhesive becomes:
Do not install while adhesive is still wet.
Roll out MikroSkin™ onto a clean flat surface.
Measure carefully and mark the rear side using pencil.
Cut using:
For best results, cut and install immediately after rolling out.
Carefully align the sheet before pressing into place.
Start from one side and work across gradually.
Once adhesive bonds, repositioning becomes difficult.
Using a pressure roller or soft applicator, firmly press the sheet into place.
Work outward to remove:
Ensure all edges are fully bonded.
Trim edges carefully using a sharp blade.
Replace blades regularly for cleaner cuts.
Clean using:
Avoid:
Do not sand the finished surface.
Store rolled, flat, and indoors away from direct sunlight and heat.
Do not sharply fold or crease the sheets.
MikroSkin™ must be installed over properly prepared substrates. Product performance depends on correct preparation and installation methods.
