MikroSkin is designed to create durable, seamless decorative surfaces when installed and cared for correctly.
Please read the following warranty and care information before installation.
Limited Product Warranty MikroSkin products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
Approved Applications MikroSkin is designed for interior decorative applications including cabinetry, joinery, splashbacks, vanities, and feature surfaces.
Non-Approved Applications DIY installations in showers, floors, submerged areas, high-movement substrates, and continuous wet zones are not covered under warranty unless professionally installed directly by MikroSkin or an approved installer.
Surface Preparation Requirements All surfaces must be clean, dry, smooth, stable, and properly prepared prior to installation. Rebates, grooves, routed profiles, protrusions, gaps, or damaged surfaces must be repaired, filled, and sanded smooth before application.
Substrate Responsibility The customer or installer is responsible for determining the suitability and condition of the substrate prior to installation.
Installation Responsibility As a DIY system, the installer accepts full responsibility for measurements, preparation, installation methods, and application outcomes.
Storage & Handling MikroSkin sheets must be stored flat or tightly rolled in a cool, dry environment away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Folding, pinching, creasing, stretching, or mishandling the material may cause permanent damage and is not covered under warranty.
Natural Finish Variation Slight colour, tonal, and texture variation may occur and forms part of the intended aesthetic of the product. Variations between sample imagery, renders, lighting conditions, and final installed appearance are normal.
Colour Matching Paint references from Dulux and Taubmans are used as colour direction guides only. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed due to differences in lighting, materials, textures, and surface finishes.
Cleaning & Maintenance MikroSkin surfaces should only be cleaned using soft cloths and mild household cleaning products. Abrasive pads, bleach, harsh chemicals, solvents, or aggressive cleaning methods must not be used.
No Sanding Policy The MikroSkin surface is supplied with a sealed protective finish. Sanding, scuffing, or abrading the surface may permanently damage the protective layer and void warranty coverage.
Heat & Impact Exposure Excessive heat, sharp impacts, dragging heavy objects, or direct contact with hot cookware may damage the surface and are not covered under warranty.
Water Resistance Disclaimer MikroSkin is a decorative water-resistant surface system. Incorrect installation, poor sealing practices, substrate movement, or water ingress are not covered under warranty.
Removal & Repairs MikroSkin is designed to allow replacement of damaged panels when correctly installed. Removal methods may vary depending on substrate condition and installation technique.
Limitation of Liability MikroSkin’s liability is strictly limited to replacement of defective product material only. Labour costs, third-party costs, installation costs, consequential damages, or indirect losses are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Visualisation & Render Disclaimer Concept renders, visualisations, and uploaded image previews are provided for inspiration purposes only and may differ slightly from final installed appearance.
Product Misuse Use of MikroSkin outside recommended applications or contrary to installation and care guidelines constitutes misuse and voids all warranty coverage.
Professional Installations Oversized walls, seamless feature walls, bathrooms, and advanced applications may require professional installation services and on-site assessment.
Ongoing Product Development MikroSkin reserves the right to modify product specifications, installation methods, finishes, and systems without prior notice as part of ongoing product development.
Acceptance Of Terms By purchasing, installing, or using MikroSkin products, the customer acknowledges and accepts these warranty terms, installation responsibilities, and care requirements.
